After the festive joy of the LEGO Creator Winter Holiday Train 10254, we decided it was time our LEGO City got itself a bigger railway so in rolled the Heavy Haul Train!

This is a great Power Functions set with some really nice details. The train itself is a smart red and grey unit with a driver and engineer and holds the battery unit and IR receiver as well as the powered wheels. The train easily has enough power to pull its three carriages - a stone hopper and two flatbed trucks with a backhoe loader and a small helicopter. The set also includes a loading crane which can lift the 'stone' pieces into the hopper.

There are five minifigures included: the driver and engineer, a crane operator, backhoe driver and a welder, on hand to keep the rails in tip top condition!
